Is a khula' (divorce at the wife's instance) that occurred under duress and involved signing khula' papers valid?

"Khul‘" is when a woman pays compensation to obtain a separation. She is permitted to request it if her husband harms her, or if she dislikes living with him and he refuses to divorce her, just as happened with the wife of Thabit ibn Qays, who said: "I dislike disbelief in Islam," meaning she disliked disobeying her husband and hating him. If the husband refuses the khul‘, the Sharia judge may compel him to it, or to divorce without compensation if he perceives his injustice.
