Does the victim of a theft have the right to demand financial compensation for the theft and for moral damages, in addition to compensation for the value of the lost money and its interest over five years, knowing that the case has been referred to the judiciary?

The bank must return the funds and waive the service charges incurred due to the account's zero balance. It must also bear the litigation costs. However, no financial penalty beyond this is permissible, for Allah Almighty says: "So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in like manner as he has assaulted you," and Allah Almighty says: "And if you punish [an enemy], then punish with an equivalent of that with which you were afflicted."
