Are different types of zakat combined for the purpose of the niṣāb (minimum taxable amount), especially livestock with cash, such as one who owns only four camels and a complete niṣāb of cash?

One type of zakatable asset is not combined with another type, such as gold and silver with dates or camels. Rather, only different varieties within the same type are combined. Accordingly, cash is not combined with camels to complete their nisab, unless the camels are trade goods. In that case, they are appraised, and their value is added to the cash, and zakat is paid on both together, because there is no prohibition of tafadul (excess) in selling camels for cash.
