How can one overcome doubts and suspicions regarding faith, especially concerning the status of women in Islam, in light of the absence of trustworthy imams, and what is the fastest way to strengthen faith and certainty and dispel suspicions and doubts?

The best way to attain faith and certainty is to resort to Allah the Almighty, to feel utter dependence on His mercy and guidance, and to supplicate to Him with humility. Then, one should turn to His Book, contemplating and understanding it, for in it are guidance, light, and healing for what is in the breasts. As Allah the Almighty says: "O mankind, there has come to you an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers." And as Allah, Glorified and Exalted, says: "There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book. By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path." And His, Exalted be He, saying: "Alif, Lam, Ra. A Book which We have sent down to you that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy."
