If the mother repeated her oath with the intention of emphasizing the first oath, then she owes one expiation. She owes another separate expiation for her oath not to perform expiation. However, if her intention by repeating the oath was to establish and found each oath and to intend expiation for it, then she owes an expiation for each oath. If she does not know the number of oaths, then she must perform expiations that she believes are not less than the number of oaths, so as to clear her conscience.
