How true is what I read about the existence of an altered version of the Holy Quran consisting of 77 surahs, which was published in Kuwait by two American companies?

It is not permissible to publish or read the book "Al-Furqan Al-Haqq" except for a scholar who intends to demonstrate its falsehood. Every Muslim can recognize the book's falsehood, and one should not occupy oneself with refuting it.
