Can a woman divorced three times return to her former husband through a new marriage contract after his recovery, or must she marry another man?

Three divorces (talaqat) separate the wife from her husband with a major irrevocable divorce (baynunah kubra). She does not become lawful for him again until she marries another husband willingly, and he then separates from her, based on the Almighty's saying: {And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until she marries another husband.} The husband's psychological illness or addiction does not prevent the divorce from occurring if he comprehends what he is saying. If he claims he divorced while unconscious, it is best to refer to the Sharia court or Islamic centers.
