What is the ruling regarding a man who observed the six days of Shawwal voluntarily and then broke his fast on one of those days due to an erroneous Adhan?

Obligatory and voluntary fasting are only valid by abstaining completely from dawn until sunset. Therefore, whoever breaks their fast mistakenly before the time is not sinful, but their fast is invalid, and they must fast another day in its place.
