Is it permissible to break the fast a few hours before Maghrib due to the inability to bear fasting in intense heat?

If a Muslim reaches puberty, he is obligated to fast the entire month of Ramadan. Breaking the fast is not permissible except for a legitimate Shar'i excuse, such as illness or travel. Mere intense heat is not considered an excuse. However, if the fasting person fears death or illness due to continuing the fast, he is permitted to break it. If the fast is broken with an excuse, a makeup fast is obligatory. If it is broken without an excuse, seeking forgiveness, repentance, and a makeup fast are obligatory. Expiation (kaffarah) is only required for breaking the fast through sexual intercourse.
