How can a woman balance performing the numerous supererogatory acts of worship and obedience that she is accustomed to with the demands of new marital life, especially at the beginning of marriage?

A wife must balance obedience to her Lord and obedience to her husband, and the husband's rights are great. She must maintain her acts of worship while giving her husband his due in companionship and affection, especially at the beginning of the marriage and regarding conjugal rights. It is not permissible for her to observe voluntary fasts except with his permission. If acts of worship conflict with his desires, his desires take precedence, as long as this does not result in abandoning an obligation or committing something forbidden.
