Is a mother's prayer against her son answered if he does not provide her with a monthly allowance and her husband is still alive?

A mother has the right to financial support from her son if she is poor, in need, and her husband's provision is insufficient for her. If she has enough money from her own means or from her husband, then the son is not obligated to provide her with monthly financial support. Rather, he is obligated to treat her kindly, do good to her, and associate with her in a befitting manner to earn her satisfaction and prayers. The prayer of a parent is not answered if it involves aggression or severing ties of kinship, based on the Almighty's saying: "Call upon your Lord humbly and privately. Indeed, He does not like aggressors," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The servant's prayer will be answered as long as he does not pray for a sin or for the severing of kinship ties."
