Is the Basmalah and "صدق الله مولانا العظيم" (Allah, our Great Master, has spoken the truth) recited before and after the surahs in prayer?

Reciting the Basmala before each surah is desirable both within and outside of prayer. Saying "صدق الله العظيم" (Allah the Almighty has spoken the truth) after reciting some of the Quran during prayer is permissible and does not invalidate the prayer, because it is a form of remembrance and not human speech. However, one should not make it a continuous practice.
