What is the ruling on a woman continuing to receive her first husband's death grant, knowing that she has remarried without disclosing it, and has continued to receive the grant to support her family?

It is not permissible to violate the conditions imposed by states on their residents unless these conditions contravene Islamic law. There is no contravention of Islamic law in a state stipulating that a woman not be married to receive a work accident grant, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." The woman must cease benefiting from the grant, repent to Allah, and return what she took unjustly. However, she may retain what is sufficient for her and her children's sustenance. Her right to the grant is forfeited upon her marriage and is not reinstated except by the renewed consent of the grantor.
