Have I committed apostasy by praising a sorcerer wrestler and showing videos of his sorcery before reaching puberty, and by not informing those who watched it with me of its prohibition? And have I committed apostasy by playing a game that glorifies sorcery?

Sin is lifted for what occurred before puberty, based on the hadith: "The pen has been lifted from three... and from the child until he reaches puberty." The cure for waswasah (whisperings) is to completely disregard it; whoever pays attention to it will find it increases. It is reported in Al-Sahihayn that whoever is afflicted with waswasah should seek refuge in Allah and desist. Waswasah comes from Satan, who wishes to lead the believer into misguidance and confusion. The remedy for waswasah is to believe that it is a satanic thought, and by fighting Allah's enemy, one will have the reward of a mujahid. It is not permissible to intentionally watch magic and conjuring shows, but merely watching them does not constitute disbelief.
