What is the ruling on publishing anonymous religious quotes from social media?

It is permissible to transmit da'wah (Islamic propagation) quotations and similar content from websites whose authors are unknown, and to place them within quotation marks, because websites are created for people to benefit from them. This includes reading their content, quoting from them, and republishing them. There is no harm in taking pictures, information, and fatwas from them, while attributing the matter to its rightful owners, unless the publisher explicitly states that publication is not permitted, or if the published material is copyrighted. In such cases, it is not permissible to publish it except with the owner's permission. However, if the material is not copyrighted, or if its owners permit its copying and publication, then there is no harm in it.
