Is it permissible to use paper tissues during prayer to remove substances from the nose more than once?

If there is no need to use tissues to clear one's nose, it should not be done because it contradicts humility (khushu‘). If it is not done excessively or consecutively, then it is considered light action. Scholars have stated that light action during prayer is permissible, especially if there is a need for it, as long as it is not excessive. The criterion for determining what is much or little is common practice.
