Is there a hadith in either Sahih al-Bukhari or Sahih Muslim narrated by a Rafidi?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

If a Rafidi excommunicates the two Sheikhs (Abu Bakr and Umar), disavows them, and holds beliefs of disbelief, then his narration is not accepted. This is known as pure Rafd or major innovation (bid'ah kubra) among later scholars. As for the Shiism known to early scholars, such as the belief in 'Ali's superiority over 'Uthman while still acknowledging the superiority of the two Sheikhs, the narration of its adherent is not rejected unless he is a preacher of his innovation. This is called minor innovation (bid'ah sughra). The two Sheikhs (Bukhari and Muslim) and others narrated from some Shi'ites who were known for their truthfulness and trustworthiness and who did not go to extremes in their Shiism.
