How authentic is the Hadith: "Whoever informs people about the month of Ramadan, the Fire is forbidden for him"?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The aforementioned hadith is a fabrication against the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it does not exist in the books of Sunnah, nor in books compiled on the virtues of Ramadan, nor in books on weak and fabricated hadiths. This indicates that it was recently forged. If you encounter a hadith that contradicts reason, or goes against established narrations, or opposes fundamental principles, then know that it is fabricated, as if it falls outside the recognized Islamic compilations. It is not permissible to disseminate or circulate this hadith except for the purpose of warning against it, due to the Prophet’s saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, lying about me is not like lying about anyone else. Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Hellfire."
