Does inserting one's hand to clean vaginal discharge invalidate ablution and fasting?

Inserting the hand into the vagina does not necessitate ghusl (ritual bath) nor is it recommended for it. Rather, it necessitates wudu (ablution) and the removal of whatever has clung to the hand. Likewise, it does not affect the validity of the fast.
