What is the ruling of Islamic law on a father watching his children view pornographic clips under the pretext that it is sex education, knowing that he misses congregational prayers because of watching television?

Watching these movies is impermissible due to the corrupting elements they contain. Allowing children to watch them is a means of corrupting them and a failure in the parents' responsibility for their upbringing. They must provide them with a good upbringing, as Allah the Almighty says: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones."

It is obligatory to advise the husband and explain the corrupting elements and dangers of these movies, as well as the importance of congregational prayer in the mosque. Take him by the hand towards obedience and righteousness by encouraging him to attend gatherings of knowledge and associate with righteous people, and cooperate with him in performing acts of obedience. One must be careful to avoid dispute and contention, and seek help from Allah, be a good wife, and supplicate for him.
