What is the virtue of a woman who dies while observing the waiting period (iddah) for her deceased husband?

No hadith or narration has been reported that indicates the virtue of a woman who dies a natural death during her iddah (waiting period) after the death of her husband. However, if she is patient and seeks reward from Allah, she will attain the reward of the patient. If she is pregnant, she is considered among the martyrs, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) hadith in which he enumerated seven types of martyrs, among whom is "the woman who dies bi-jum'in." Some scholars have interpreted this to mean a woman who dies in childbirth, or a virgin woman who has not been approached by a man.
