What is the ruling on one who affirms a direction for Allah Almighty, reasoning that the intellect necessitates affirming it, otherwise He would be non-existent?

We have previously clarified in Fatwa No. 121964 that the term "direction" (al-jiha) is an ambiguous term that can imply both truth and falsehood. The way to address it is to inquire about its meaning; if it is false, it is rejected, and if it is true, it is accepted. We have cited the words of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah regarding this matter.
