If what is meant are the asanid (chains of transmission) of the Qur’an, they are numerous among those who have memorized the Book of Allah the Almighty, and they are connected to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. As for the asanid of Hadith, they are found in the books of the Sunnah, but they are rare among people today. The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has stated that the asanid of the Sunnah found with some scholars have no value due to the length of the chain and the anonymity of many of the narrators.
