Is it permissible to pray when there are scattered drops of blood after the cessation of menstruation?
If a woman sees purity [tuhur] and then sees drops of blood, she has become a menstruating woman again, and she must stop praying. If the bleeding stops and she sees purity, she should perform ghusl and pray, as long as the duration of the blood and any intervening purity does not exceed fifteen days. Purity is indicated by dryness [jufuf] or the white discharge [al-qassah al-bayda’]. If the bleeding stops and she sees a yellowish or brownish discharge connected to it within the possible time frame [of menstruation], it is considered menstruation.
