What is your opinion on the rapprochement between the madhhabs?

"Bringing sects closer" is a general statement. If it means bringing Sunnis and innovators closer, then it is impossible due to the invalidity of their bad beliefs and their contradiction to the fundamental beliefs of Sunnis. However, if it means bringing the four jurisprudential schools of thought closer, or bringing closer the callers to Allah from among the people of Sunnah and the community, then it is a good call, and there is goodness and blessing in unity. Allah has indeed urged clinging to His rope.
