Al-Nabighah Al-Dhubyani is the poet who composed the "I'tithariyat" (apology poems). This was when he was staying with the Ghassanids, praising Al-Nu'man ibn Al-Mundhir and apologizing to him, absolving himself of what he had been accused of. These poems are known as the "I'tithariyat" and are among his most beautiful poetry. In them, he became famous for depicting his awe of Al-Nu'man, to the extent that it was said: "A Nabighian night."
