How authentic is the Hadith: "Harming a Muslim in his death is like harming him in his life"?

The hadith was narrated on the authority of Ibn Mas'ud, as a saying attributed to a Companion (mawquf), with the wording: "Harm done to a believer after his death is like harm done to him during his life." This is supported by the hadith: "Breaking the bone of a dead person is like breaking it when he is alive," which was narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah, and authenticated by Al-Albani.
