Does using one's fingers to deliver water to the nose during sniffing (instinshaq) in wudu invalidate wudu?

Inhaling water (istinnshaq) is obligatory according to some scholars and a Sunnah according to others. Exaggerating it is recommended for those who are not fasting. Istinnshaq is done by drawing water with the breath to the deepest part of the nose without needing to insert a finger. Exaggerating it applies to those who are not fasting. What the questioner used to do by inserting a finger is correct, but he must abandon anything that contradicts the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
