What is the ruling on alerting to and correcting spelling errors in the writing of a Prophetic Hadith or a Qudsi Hadith? Is it obligatory to contact the person to amend them, even if a single letter was dropped by mistake?

The scholars have not stipulated the obligation of following spelling rules in writing Hadith, or writing it like the Mushaf (Qur'an). However, they have emphasized the importance of clear writing to ensure correct recitation. One should not intentionally violate spelling rules, as this could lead to errors in the Hadith, out of fear of falling under the warning, "Whoever attributes to me what I have not said, let him take his seat in the Hellfire." One should advise whoever omits a letter in writing due to what it might change in meaning.
