What is the ruling on the impurity of the droppings or urine of a bird of unknown species?

The droppings of birds are not ruled to be impure unless you are certain that they come from a bird whose meat is not permissible to eat. The default state of a thing is purity until it is established with certainty that it is impure. Doubt is not sufficient to rule something impure.
