This hadith has been narrated by a group of scholars from Sa'id al-Maqburi, including Imam Ahmad and Abu Ya'la with an authentic chain of narration, and from his father, Abu Sa'id al-Maqburi, including Ibn Khuzaymah and Al-Nasa'i. The narrations have been reconciled by stating that Sa'id heard it from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, and also heard it directly from Abu Hurayrah, so he would narrate it through both channels.
