Are emotional changes while reciting the Qur’an, imagining feelings as images, and experiencing tremors a natural occurrence that may be related to practicing Tai Chi, and does controlling these emotions affect one’s concentration during recitation?

He who recites the Qur’an with due recitation will find his heart and soul affected by it, and his emotions will increase, as Allah described the believers in this manner. As for the feelings resulting from spiritual exercises or "energy" exercises, they have no relation to true humility stemming from pondering the meanings of the Great Qur’an. Reciting the Qur’an with contemplation and reflection bequeaths heartfelt emotions connected to Allah and His intentions, and is not merely a tremor. Pondering the meanings of Allah’s words and persevering in it bequeaths a true connection with Allah and inner happiness. As for other feelings, they are not part of religion in any way, and should not be mixed with it.
