The texts of the two Revelations indicate the possibility of angels appearing to some people in human form, as happened with Abraham, Lot, and Mary, peace be upon them. Some righteous jinn may also appear to a person to guide them to good, or Satan may appear in the guise of an advisor to mislead people. There is nothing conclusive in this matter, but as long as the apparent (one) confirms the Quran for the recipient, it is hoped to be good. It is advised to seek protection from evil ones and devils.
