The fatwa is that yellowness (a yellowish discharge) is considered menstruation if it occurs during the menstrual period or is connected to it, as long as it does not exceed the maximum duration of menstruation (15 days). Accordingly, as long as the yellowish discharge is continuous with blood without interruption and does not exceed the days of menstruation (10 or 11 days), it takes the ruling of menstruation. The woman must abstain from prayer and fasting during this period and make up for the fasting later.
