How accurate is the story of the atheistic Russian professor who claimed to have seen naked people burning in fire during a drilling mission in Siberia?

We believe in the torment and bliss of the grave, and there are proofs for this from the Holy Quran and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet. Among the verses from the Quran indicating this is Allah's saying concerning the people of Pharaoh: "The Fire, they are exposed to it morning and evening. And the Day the Hour is established [it will be said], 'Admit the people of Pharaoh to the severest punishment.'" And His saying: "And we will surely let them taste the nearer punishment [in this world] short of the greater punishment [in the Hereafter]." And His saying: "And indeed, for those who have wronged there is a torment other than that." And His saying: "And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved, striking their faces and their backs and [saying], 'Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.'" As for the proofs from the Sunnah, they are numerous. Ibn Abi al-Izz clarified in his commentary on Al-Aqidah Al-Tahawiyyah that the fire and bliss of the grave are not of this worldly type, and that Allah Almighty's power is vast and wondrous, and that the wisdom of religious obligation (taklif) and belief in the unseen requires that Allah not disclose this to all His servants, as stated in the Hadith: "Were it not that you would stop burying [your dead], I would ask Allah to let you hear of the torment of the grave what I hear." The mentioned stories about the torment or bliss of the grave, if true, are evidence of the truthfulness of the promise and warning and of Allah's power. And if they are false, then our belief in what came in the Quran and Sunnah is firm.
