What is the ruling on celebrating birthdays and accepting gifts under duress and with inner disapproval, and what is the sin of a girl compelled to wear tight clothing, and is one judged to be a polytheist if they live among polytheists with inner disapproval and an inability to separate from them?

Firstly: There is no harm in attending birthday celebrations and accepting gifts to ward off harm, provided there is no participation or approval, because the sin is upon the one who innovated the bid'ah (religious innovation). Secondly: There is no harm in going out with the family, provided one strives to wear modest clothing. If that is not possible, then the one who is compelled is not sinful. Similarly, there is no harm in being present among the family during their polytheistic rituals if the heart disapproves and is unable to change the situation. Thirdly: There is no harm in traveling with the family to the West if there is no other option. Perhaps there will be relief and independence in it. It is preferable to consult the Islamic center there.
