What is the way to deal with a father whose behavior suddenly changed after 29 years of marriage, so he started insulting his wife and using abusive language in front of his children and in-laws, and mocking his committed son, and spending most of his time in chat rooms and music websites, and not praying, knowing that he refuses interference in his affairs?

Neglecting prayer is one of the gravest sins, and Allah has threatened those who abandon it with "Ghayy" and "Wail" in Hellfire. Among sins also is a husband's ill-treatment of his wife through cursing and humiliation, and among the most heinous is watching pornography. The father who commits these sins is in grave danger unless he repents, performs prayers, and abandons these evil acts. He should be advised through all legitimate means. The mother should fulfill her role in guiding her husband, and if he does not respond, she should refer her case to the judge.
