Is a rug that a child urinated on purified by washing the soiled area with water and soap from its top and bottom, and is it permissible to pray on it thereafter?

The urine of a boy who eats food takes the same ruling as the urine of an adult regarding the obligation to wash whatever it contaminates, whether it be clothing, body, or place. If the urine is on a carpet, it is sufficient to pour water only on the impure spot to purify it, without needing to remove or wring out the carpet. This is analogous to what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did concerning the Bedouin's urination in the mosque. If the location of the urine is known and washed with water, the entire prayer rug becomes pure. However, if the location of the urine is confused and unknown, the prayer rug will not become pure except by washing it entirely.
