Is the female driver liable for expiation for the souls that died as a result of the traffic accident she caused?

If a woman has taken all necessary safety precautions and measures, adhered to traffic rules, and was fully aware, yet could not avoid the accident, then she bears no blame and owes no expiation. However, if there was any negligence in taking safety precautions, she is responsible and must offer expiation for each life lost, based on Allah's saying: "And whoever kills a believer by mistake – then freeing a believing slave."
