Is it necessary to remove the cuticular skin above the nails for ablution?

Everything that prevents water from reaching the limbs of the person performing ablution (wudu) or ritual bath (ghusl) must be removed. If excess skin or flesh grows on the nail, it must be washed during wudu and ghusl, as it is considered part of the limb that must be washed, and it is not obligatory to remove it.
