Is it permissible to divide the daily portion of istighfar (seeking forgiveness) and recitation of Surahs throughout the day, or must it be consecutive?

1. He might have vowed this wird with a wording that indicates a vow and commitment. In this case, it is obligatory to fulfill it according to his intention. If he intended it to be continuous, then it is obligatory to perform it continuously; otherwise, it is permissible to perform it intermittently.

2. If he did not utter a vow-like wording, then it is not considered a vow, but rather a consistent recitation of remembrances (adhkar) at a specific time.
