Is the hadith: "Whoever has an imam, then the imam's recitation is a recitation for him"?

Most scholars have weakened the hadith "Whoever has an Imam, then the Imam's recitation is a recitation for him," due to the weakness of its chains of transmission, their being mursal, and their discontinuity. However, some, like certain followers of Abu Hanifa, have adopted its meaning. As for the congregant's recitation behind the Imam, it is a matter of dispute, and the preponderant opinion is the obligation of reciting Al-Fatiha for everyone in all prayers.
