Did I err when I told someone that Allah would not purify a Dayyūth and that he would suffer a severe punishment, even though the noble Hadith, "Three Allah عز وجل will not look at on the Day of Resurrection: the one who disobeys his parents, the woman who imitates men, and the Dayyūth," did not mention that?

The phrase "Allah will not purify him, and he will have a painful punishment" was not mentioned in the hadiths related to the punishment of the dayyuth (cuckold/pimp), and attributing it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is a mistake. Dayyathah (cuckoldry/pimping) is among the major sins, and the punishment of its perpetrator is a matter of the unseen about which nothing can be said except through revealed texts. It has been reported in the Sunnah (definition) that the dayyuth "will not enter Paradise, nor will Allah look at him on the Day of Resurrection."
