Is the clothing mentioned in Surat Al-A'raf for covering the 'awrah, or for adornment and beauty?

The Almighty says in verse 26 of Surat Al-A'raf: "O Children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness – that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember." This encompasses covering the nakedness and adornment, and the clothing of righteousness is better because it remains with the servant and beautifies the heart and soul.

And in verse 27 of the same Surah (definition): "O Children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to expose their private parts. Indeed, he and his tribe see you from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe." This is a warning against the temptations of Satan, who, along with his tribe of jinn, sees you without you seeing them. Allah has made the devils allies to those who do not believe, because it is the lack of faith that makes a person vulnerable to the devil's dominion.
