Is Islam a racist religion that entrenches the sovereignty of Quraysh and Banu Hashim, deprives the rest of the Muslims of their right to assume the Caliphate and the Imamate, and renders the billion-strong Ummah deficient in rights and subservient to Quraysh?

The exclusivity of the Caliphate to the Quraysh is a divine decree articulated by the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and scholars have reached a consensus on this matter, with dissent only from the people of innovation. This matter is conditioned on the Qurayshi Imam upholding the Law of Allah; if he fails to do so, he is to be deposed. Furthermore, the administration of the state is not restricted to the Caliph alone, but he has assistants and governors, whether from Quraysh or otherwise. This is not a call for tribalism but for wisdom and benefits, as the Imamate is a trust and a responsibility. This matter must be viewed purely from a Sharia (definition) perspective.
