There is no specific duration for answering the call of nature, but prolonged stays therein without benefit are prohibited because these are places where devils are present. One must hasten to leave after finishing, as prolonged stays may lead to waswasa (whispers/doubts). As for ’ (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself), it is sufficient to purify the exit without undue effort, and without paying attention to waswasa.
