If doubts become numerous to the point of being like whisperings (waswasa) in various matters, then their cure is to turn away from them and not pay them any attention. If doubt becomes frequent to the point of being waswasa, then the prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahw) is not prescribed for it. Likewise, doubt after an action does not have an effect, especially if doubts are numerous.
