Is a person held accountable for the sexual and blasphemous thoughts that come to mind, especially during masturbation? Are these thoughts considered disbelief? What is the correct way to deal with them? And does the noble Hadith: "A servant is not held accountable for what comes to his mind unless he speaks or acts upon it" apply to them?

It is advisable to calm oneself and disregard the whispers of Satan, for they do no harm unless they materialize into a statement or an action. Hating disbelief-inducing thoughts is a sign of faith, and seeking refuge in Allah when such thoughts arise repels Satan's cunning. One should increase in acts of obedience and avoid sins such as masturbation. If a person fears disbelief, let them remember that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful, who forgives all sins. It is recommended to hasten marriage with the intention of chastity, not to inform the wife about these whispers, and to frequently supplicate, remember Allah, recite morning and evening remembrances, and perform legal ruqyah (definition).
