Was I right not to declare my friend an infidel (kafir) after he cursed the religion while angry, or should I have unequivocally declared him one?

Blaspheming religion is an act of disbelief that expels one from the faith. If it originates from a Muslim, it is considered apostasy. The perpetrator is not excused by ignorance or anger, unless their anger reaches the point of losing awareness, in which case they are considered like an insane person and are not held accountable for what they uttered. This is called "anger of closure," where a person loses their mind. However, mere delays in transactions do not usually justify reaching this type of anger.
