Is it permissible to be absent from religious lessons because the children, who go to sleep before one returns from the lesson, have not had supper, knowing that preparing supper before leaving leads to missing a large part of the lesson?

The matter is easy. Try to prepare dinner early and serve it before dinner or before you leave, or leave it ready, and ask them to eat it before they sleep. Accustom them to understanding and cooperation in righteousness.
